5. SUN RIDGE SYSTEMS, INC. AGREEMENT The City of Tustin Police Department seeks City Council authorization to enter into an agreement with Sun Ridge Systems, Inc. for the implementation of a new Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management System (RMS). The proposed agreement provides a comprehensive public safety software platform designed to modernize dispatch operations, records management, mobile field reporting, mapping capabilities, public access services, and system integrations. Following a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process, Sun Ridge Systems, Inc. was identified as the vendor best suited to meet the operational, technical, and long-term needs of the Tustin Police Department. The proposed agreement includes software licensing, implementation services, data conversion from the Department's current Records Management System (RMS) platform, training, technical support, and ongoing software maintenance and updates. The replacement of the Department's current CAD and RMS is a critical technology initiative intended to improve operational efficiency, enhance data accessibility, streamline reporting processes, support officer and dispatcher effectiveness, improve interoperability with partner systems, and position the Department for future technological enhancements.
