The City of Tustin is within the John Wayne Airport’s “Noise Impact Area” since it has the potential to experience an average Community Noise Equivalent Level above 65 decibels. Community Noise Equivalent Level is a weighted 24-hour average of noise levels, a measurement often used to regulate airport noise impacts on the surrounding community.
