ORDINANCE TO UPDATE THE TUSTIN CITY CODE REGARDING COMMISSION APPOINTMENT PROCESS Since the City established the office of the Mayor as an elective office, California law provides that the Mayor, with the approval of the city council, shall make all appointments to boards, commissions, and committees unless otherwise specifically provided by statute.
