3. SPECIAL EVENT REVIEW – TALENT SHOW, MEMORIAL DAY REMEMBRANCE, STREET FAIR AND CHILI COOK-OFF, AND FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION The Community Services Commission’s Strategic Priorities include recommending improvements to community special events. The Parks and Recreation Department’s four most recent events were the Talent Show, Memorial Day Remembrance, Street Fair and Chili Cook-Off, and Fourth of July Celebration.

4. COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION LIAISON ASSIGNMENTS One of the responsibilities of the Community Services Commission Commissioners is to coordinate with local organizations via five (5) liaison positions. The Commissioners will select primary and alternate liaison assignments for the 2023-24 fiscal year.

5. COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION STRATEGIC PLAN - PARK AND FACILITY TOUR Each year the Community Services Commission tours the City of Tustin parks and facilities to assist staff with assessing the conditions of both and prioritizing future Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects for consideration of funding.

6. COMMISSIONER PARK VISIT REPORTS Commissioners will provide a report to the Commission on their park visits as follows: Wesson Camino Real, Centennial, Tustin Sports Nakamoto Columbus Tustin, Peppertree, Pine Tree Marsh Peery Frontier, Veterans Sports, Victory Henderson Citrus Ranch, Laurel Glen, Magnolia Tree, McFadden Pasadena Kozak Cedar Grove, Heritage, Pioneer Road

7. COMMISSIONER LIAISON REPORTS Commissioners will provide a report to the Commission on their liaison assignments as follows: Wesson Tustin Community Foundation Nakamoto Senior Advisory Board Marsh Peery Community Outreach Henderson Economic Development Kozak Special Events
