2. APPROVAL OF THE DECEMBER 15, 2021, SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

3. APPROVAL OF THE JANUARY 5, 2022, SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

4. COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE There was no correspondence received on behalf of the Commission during the months of December and January.

4.5 FINDINGS REQUIRED BY AB 361 FOR THE CONTINUED USE OF TELECONFERENCING FOR MEETINGS In order for the Commission to continue to have the option to meet via teleconference during the pandemic, AB 361 required the Commission to make specified findings at least every thirty (30) days.

a. A state of emergency has been proclaimed by California’s Governor due to the COVID-19 pandemic and continues in effect; and

b. The Commission has reconsidered the circumstances of the state of emergency; and

c. State and local officials continue to recommend measures to promote social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19.

REGULAR BUSINESS

5. 2022 COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION MEETING SCHEDULE Commissioners will receive the 2022 Community Services Commission Meeting Schedule, which lists the dates of each of the Regular Meetings in 2022.

6. 2022 PARKS & RECREATION SPECIAL EVENT SCHEDULE Staff is providing Commissioners with a schedule of the City-Wide Special Events that will be presented by the Parks and Recreation Department in 2022.

7. SPECIAL EVENT REVIEW – TALENT SHOW, TREE LIGHTING, AND BREAKFAST WITH SANTA The Community Services Commission’s Strategic Priorities include recommending improvements to community special events. The Parks and Recreation Department’s three most recent events were Talent Show, Tree Lighting, and Breakfast with Santa.
