CONSENT CALENDAR

1. APPROVAL OF THE MAY 18, 2022, REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

2. GIFTED PUBLIC ART There was no gifted public art received on behalf of the Committee during the month of June.

3. COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE Correspondence received on behalf of the Committee during the month of June.

4. FINDINGS REQUIRED BY AB 361 FOR THE CONTINUED USE OF TELECONFERENCING FOR MEETINGS In order for the Committee to continue to have the option to meet via teleconference during the pandemic, AB 361 required the Committee to make specified findings at least every thirty (30) days.

a. A state of emergency has been proclaimed by California’s Governor due to the COVID-19 pandemic and continues in effect; and

b. The Committee has reconsidered the circumstances of the state of emergency; and

c. State and local officials continue to recommend measures to promote social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19.

REGULAR BUSINESS

5. PUBLIC ART COMMITTEE STRATEGIC PRIORITIES The Public Art Committee will review its Strategic Priorities annually to make any necessary adjustments. The purpose of clearly defining Strategic Priorities for the Committee is to establish goals and objectives as an advisory board to the Community Services Commission, City Council, and the Parks and Recreation Department.

6. SCULPTURE WALK AT TUSTIN LEGACY LINEAR PARK The Public Art Committee is engaged in the development of a sculpture-based public art project at Tustin Legacy Park.

7. POTENTIAL PUBLIC ART PROJECTS The purpose of the Public Art Committee is to evaluate and commission public art projects to enhance the quality of life in Tustin. The Committee should discuss potential public art projects for consideration in the 2021-2022 Fiscal Year.

8. CREATIVE SIGNALS OUTREACH The Public Art Committee will consider options for publicizing the Creative Signals Public Art Program to the Tustin community.
